Women who underwent sex change wins workplace discrimination claims
This article is about a transgender, Vandy Beth Glenn, who was fired from her job because of the sex change. Her boss disagreed with the sex change and said that it was inapropriate, disruptive, and would also make her co workers feel uncomfortable. The boss also kicked Glenn out for showing up to a halloween party dressed as a female. The court ruled that Glenn could return to work, stating that "An individual cannot be punished because of his or her perceived gender non-conformity," and "Because these protections are afforded to everyone, they cannot be denied to a transgender individual."
