Military officials said that jobs such as infantry and artillery will have exacting physical requirements and standards will be maintained. The military has different standards based on age and sex for the Army and Marines. In both of those services the standards for infantry and other combat arms specialties will remain the same. Surveys of soldiers indicated that they are willing to give women a chance if the standards aren't lowered. The Military has several years to fully implement the new order but the plan will be executed incrementally.

One college player, Nick Kasa, a tight end from Colorado told hosts that in the interviews the coaches asked questions meant to throw you off guard or get into your mind a little bit. Some of those questions included "Do you have a girlfriend?" or "Do you like girls?" Those types of questions should not be asked in interviews because a players sexual orientation has nothing to do with how they can play.
